WELCOME to my blog!!

It has been approximately 2 years since I regularly updated, but recently I began missing my blogging. I have gone against "the rules of blogging" by simply naming my blog "Bridget's Ramblings". It goes against the rules because you are supposed to choose one topic that you are passionate about and write about it. Well, it just so happens that I become passionate about anything that piques my interest at any given point in time. My husband once told me my hobby is finding new hobbies.....I can't deny it!! However, I will say that my kids--currently ages 11, 8, 6, and 4--will always be a major topic you can expect to read about. Beyond the kids, my current secondary interests include running and biking....gardening will most likely be the next topic to grab my attention. But, the one thing you can count on is that I will undoubtedly ramble on about whatever I find interesting.

Day at Pullen Park with Grandpa and Grammy

While in NC during spring break we spent a morning at Pullen Park. It is such a great park and is right next to the campus of NC State University. Along with 3 large swing/play areas there is plenty of open grassy areas for picnics or just running around. Two of the kids' favorite attractions are the train and the carousel. The train goes through a dark tunnel and around the park (and over a duck pond). I really enjoyed our picnic. The kids played ball, rolled down a grassy hill, played with bubbles and just had an overall great time. We had beautiful weather for our day at the park.

Me (Bridget) and AJ on the swing.

Ryan giving Grandpa a kiss. Of course, Ryan couldn't resist looking at me when he saw the camera.

Grandpa and Ryan in the background. Paige, AJ, and Grammy in the front. We were on our way over to the picnic area.

He loves Signing Time videos and has started using the caterpillar sign to tell me when he wants to watch the video. There's a caterpillar song on one of the videos that he just LOVES!

Bridget, I LOVE these pics - all the pics from your trip turned out so good! It looks like you had a great time. I would love to take the kids to that park, and also the museum in Richmond - I went there as a child too!

Poor Ryan - Aj really clobbered him with that cup! Good luck with 2 boys!

Empty space until I decide on a use for it
