WELCOME to my blog!!

It has been approximately 2 years since I regularly updated, but recently I began missing my blogging. I have gone against "the rules of blogging" by simply naming my blog "Bridget's Ramblings". It goes against the rules because you are supposed to choose one topic that you are passionate about and write about it. Well, it just so happens that I become passionate about anything that piques my interest at any given point in time. My husband once told me my hobby is finding new hobbies.....I can't deny it!! However, I will say that my kids--currently ages 11, 8, 6, and 4--will always be a major topic you can expect to read about. Beyond the kids, my current secondary interests include running and biking....gardening will most likely be the next topic to grab my attention. But, the one thing you can count on is that I will undoubtedly ramble on about whatever I find interesting.

Sometimes you just have to laugh!

I've often said that sometimes I just have to laugh to stop from crying....I wasn't literally going to cry in this situation, but it's an example of times that I just laugh because otherwise I might find myself getting very frustrated. Of course, how could I get mad at that face?! Here are a coule of pictures of AJ at breakfast this morning. Not only is there milk all over the tray, his cup, and his entire body....but it's also all over the floor and the dog's face. I think AJ is Bailey's (the dog) most favorite kid in the house. AJ absolutely LOVES to throw food at the dog! Often times I will give AJ a bowl full of goldfish crackers. AJ will sit on the floor, eat one and throw one to the dog. Needless to say, you can always find the dog laying very close to AJ when he has food. Some days I wonder why I even bother to buy dog food!

At least he does eat some of it......but why he throws the spoon on the floor and eats cereal with his hands is beyond me! But, one thing I find funny is that I NEVER would have even given Kaeli a bowl full of cereal and milk at this age! I would have been sitting right next to her helping her eat it. The contrasts between what I do differently between my first and 4th child are numerous! At least he's getting ample opportunity to explore his world. :)
