WELCOME to my blog!!

It has been approximately 2 years since I regularly updated, but recently I began missing my blogging. I have gone against "the rules of blogging" by simply naming my blog "Bridget's Ramblings". It goes against the rules because you are supposed to choose one topic that you are passionate about and write about it. Well, it just so happens that I become passionate about anything that piques my interest at any given point in time. My husband once told me my hobby is finding new hobbies.....I can't deny it!! However, I will say that my kids--currently ages 11, 8, 6, and 4--will always be a major topic you can expect to read about. Beyond the kids, my current secondary interests include running and biking....gardening will most likely be the next topic to grab my attention. But, the one thing you can count on is that I will undoubtedly ramble on about whatever I find interesting.

We just put 'em in cages!

I figured out the best way to REALLY shock people. I can start carrying this picture with me and when people ask "how do you do it with 4 kids?" I'll just show them the picture. Although, knowing me I'd never be able to keep a straight face when I say it. Besides, there's enough people out there without a sense of humor that I'd probably have CPS knocking on my door.

These pictures were taken a few days ago. Ryan and AJ were playing in the basement and I had to run upstairs for a few minutes.

When I came back down this was what I saw:

And, the funny thing is that AJ was soooo mad at me for opening the door to take this next picture. It took me several shots to get him with even half a smile on his face. His arm is in the air because he's on his way to closing the door again. The whole time Ryan was yelling "lock door" because he wanted me to actually LOCK them in. Thank goodness we have one of the most patient dogs on the planet!
